NASA's Messenger spacecraft, launched in 2004, is currently in orbit around Mercury, gathering valuable data about its surface and space environment. The mission aims to uncover the mysteries of this closest planet to the sun. The spacecraft has already made multiple passes of Mercury and will continue to study it for the next year. This groundbreaking mission provides valuable insights into the planet's composition, geology, and magnetic field.
