  1. Star universe By Sim & Summer

  2. Cool & hot stars =3200c =10000c =4900c =30000c or a bit more! =6000c

  3. Star sizes • Sirius B : 0.08 the size of the sun! • Alpha Centauri: 1.2 the size of the sun! • Vega: 2 the size of the sun! • Capella: 13 the size of the sun! • Aldebaran: 46 the size of the sun! • Betelgeuse:230 the size of the sun!

  4. How heavy is a star • It would depends on the mass of original star and the nature of the explosion it cant be much more than about there times the mas it would crate a black hole rather than neutron star! • I believe stars weigh about 150,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 KG.

  5. Supernovas • When a massive star dies, it does so in a spectacular explosion known as a supernova • Supernovas are very rare .Of the roughly 200 stars in our galaxy, only one explodes per century on avarage!

  6. What is a high mass star? • A high mass star is a star which is anything over 8 times the mass of the sun!

  7. Big & small stars! • There are giant stars in space that can be 100 times larger than the sun , there are dwarf stars that can be 100 times smaller than the sun!

  8. Which stars live for longer • The smaller stars live longer , it lives for billions of years , big stars die out in a few million years !

  9. Are stars big or small ? • There are giant stars in space that can be 100 times larger than the sun , there are dwarf stars that can be 100 times smaller !

  10. Star facts Stars have hydrogen gas & don’t have solid surfaces , temperatures of almost 3000 to 30000 C. The sun is almost 1.4 million kilometers acrossand it’s just a medium size dstar!

  11. How fast does light travel ? • Light travels at an amazing 300,000 kilometers per second !

  12. Biggest star known • The biggest star known is the hypergiant Cygnus , witch is 810,000 times as bright as the sun !
