  4. Liturgy of the Word First Reading “Deep waters cannot quench love, nor floods sweep it away” Song of Solomon 2:9-13, 1:2, 8:6-7 Reader, Mr. Arturo Rappi “My beloved is like a gazelle, or a young stag. Behold, there he stands behind our wall, gazing in at the windows, looking through the lattice. My beloved speaks and says to me: Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away; for lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. The fig tree puts forth its figs, and the vines are in blossom; they give forth fragrance. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away. O that you would kiss me with the kisses of your mouth! For your love is better than wine.” “Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm; for love is strong as death, jealousy is cruel as the grave. Its flashes are flashes of fire, a most vehement flame. Deep waters cannot quench love, nor floods sweep it away.” Responsorial Psalm 144 “The Lord is compassionate to all his creatures” Soloist, Mrs. Claudia O’Bosky

  5. Liturgy of the Word Second Reading “Love never fails” St. Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians 12:31-13:8a Reader, Mr. Glen Botha “Procurad, pues, los dones mejores. Gospel Acclamation “If we love one another, God remains in us” 1 John 4:12 AlleluiaBaker

  9. Flowers In loving memory of Chantal’s grandfather, Mr. Robert E. Kuhn, and Pablo’s grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Arturo Rappi and Mr. & Mrs. José Secaud. Dear Friends and Family, We thank you for joining us as we celebrate our love in this beautiful cathedral through the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony. We would not be here without your guidance and support. We are grateful that so many of you have traveled great distances to be with us on the joyful occasion. On this, our special day, we remember those who have passed but whose love and influence are still felt. As we leave this sacred place as husband and wife, we ask for your prayers and best wishes that we may continue to be as happy in our married life together as we are today. Love, Chantal and Pablo
