What are the functions of lungs?The lungs, as before stated are pumps. They pull in oxygen and absorb the oxygen into the lining of the lungs. Then pushes the oxygen into the chambers of the heart so the oxygen can travel to the rest of the body. lungs is to receives air from the atmosphere through the nose and mouth with every inhale, and allows the transfer of the oxygen in the air to pass into the blood stream.
Disease of lungs What are the diseases of lungs Asthma: The airways are persistently inflamed, and may occasionally spasm, causing wheezing and shortness of breath. Allergies, infections, or pollution can trigger asthma's symptoms. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD): Lung conditions defined by an inability to exhale normally, which causes difficulty breathing. Chronic bronchitis: A form of COPD characterized by a chronic productive cough. Emphysema: Lung damage allows air to be trapped in the lungs in this form of COPD. Difficulty blowing air out is its hallmark.
What is the prevention of lung disease? • Generally, diseases can be prevented when one makes it a point to have a healthy lifestyle at all times. This also holds true to some types of lung disease. • Avoid eating toxic foods at all costs. This involves limiting your salt intake and caffeinated drinks. • Start changing your lifestyle. This begins with body cleansing such as bowel and kidney cleanse. Regular dental clean up is also recommended. • Start doing activities that involve satisfying the soul. This means involving one’s self in any form of spiritual therapy. • Slowly practice regular physical activity. Start with brisk walking to avoid exhausting yourself. In order for you to stick to exercising, you need to choose an activity that really interests you. Some of these might be yoga, Tai Chi and many types of Martial Arts.
