  1. Chillers and it’s types

  2. Whats is chiller? • A chiller is a machine that removes heat from a liquid via a vapor-compression or absorption refrigeration cycle. • This liquid can then be circulated through a heat exchanger to cool equipment, or another process stream. • As a necessary by-product, refrigeration creates waste heat that must be exhausted to ambience, or for greater efficiency, recovered for heating purposes.

  3. Different types of Chillers: • Screw Chiller • Water Cooled Chiller • Air Cooled Chiller

  4. Screw Chiller • Screw Chillers are energy efficient than any other technology in refrigeration/heating/cooling plants. • Since they can control the level of optimal cooling and never over cools according to building capacity. • They consume less energy to function due to the compressor type and its mechanism.

  6. Water Cooled Chiller • The process water is the means by which heat transfers from the process to the chiller. • There are two types of condensers used in chillers; air-cooled and water-cooled. • An air-cooled condenser uses ambient air to cool and condense the hot refrigerant gas back down to a liquid.

  7. Water Cooled Chiller

  8. Air Cooled Chiller • Air-cooled chillers actively absorb heat from process water. • They then transfer this heat into the air around the chiller unit. • The refrigerant condenses when it's in the condenser tubes, releasing its internal heat to the air or cooling water.

  10. AB Chiller • AB Chillers is a flexible, futuristic and knowledge-based company delivering quality chillers. • We are the 25 years chillers manufacturers in Coimbatore, India using best quality raw materials and contemporary technology under the guidance of our experts in Compliance with The Set Quality Standards.
