  3. RED PANDAS • Thepanda’s tail helps to balance it when climbing trees. • It’s colour blends in perfectly with the red lichens and mosses on the trees on which it climbs. • Red Pandas live for a period of about 7-14 years. • They weigh about 3-6 kilograms. • Red Pandas eat bamboo, blossoms, bird eggs, and fruit. • There are only 2500 Red Pandas left in the whole world. • Panda babies weigh 113-141 grams.

  4. SPIDER MONKEYS • Spider monkeys are found in the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. • They almost never come near the ground. • They weigh 9 kilograms. • Spider monkeys are called the trapeze artists of the animal world. • The spider monkeys diet consists of fruit, nuts, seeds, insects, and bird eggs. • Females give birth every 2-3 years.

  5. ZEBRAS • Zebras weigh 220-249 kilograms. • They eat dry, wild grasses. • They can also live for up to 40 years. • They live in savannahs, woodlands, and open plains. • The stripes of a zebra are excellent camouflage. • Zebras are important prey for lions, hyenas, jackal, leopards, and cheetahs. • Mares always lead the group, but the stallions stay at the back.
