Eye tracking and Eye Control • With Eye tracking, a computer knows exactly where a user is looking • For research, design testing and diagnostics • To understand human behavior and thinking • Eye Control, makes it possible to Control a computer when hands are not an option • For communication, writing, e-mailing, web browsing, environmental control and much more

  4. Making the most of Collaboration... How can we improve eye control? How can eye control be more efficient for the users? • Speed!! • Communication is a matter of speed • By improving to speed we are improving the quality of life for the users • Today all communication must be fast • Size and Price!! • Mount at a wheel chair or carry it with you • Mount as a head tracker • Lower price will drive volumes to even lower prices

Making the most of Collaboration... • Speed!! • Eye control can be and is faster than many other input methods • Needs to be communicated!! • Need to show some kind of study, comparing the different input methods!! • Improve speed • Optimize the software and the boards!! • Try to work around the dwell function!

  6. Clip-on ?? No adjustments, just one USB cable!?? • Wearable ?? at ordinary glasses ?? Making the most of Collaboration... • Size and Price!! • Current components are too large, power consuming and expensive. • Find or create a new technical solution for eye tracking! • Improved tracking can decrease the size of the screens • New components will lower the price and drive volumes to better production methods and lower prices.

  7. Making the most of Collaboration... • Suggestions; • Study and communicate speed • Improve speed by optimizing software and boards • Find alternatives to dwelling • Search for new technical solution and components for eye tracking!
