  2. McKinley Curtis III is a 2010 Starfish graduate and retired Command Sergeant Major (CSM) of the United States Army. As a veteran, serving 30 years of active-duty service, McKinley; also known as Charlie Mike (CM), recently retired as a GS-13 in civil service after 14 years on 31 January 2019. McKinley possesses a Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois University (Electronic Systems Technologies) and a Master of Education from Troy State University. https://mckinleysthoughts.com/ https://mckinleysthoughts.com/

  3. He also has 51 of 60 Credits towards a second Masters in Clinical Mental Health. McKinley presently shares his passion and expertise in leadership as a certified John Maxwell Speaker, Coach and Trainer. In August 2009, GEN Dempsey charged the TRADOC G2 to work with OriBrafman the author of the Starfish and the Spider to build a program based on principles outlined in his book, The Starfish and the Spider.   5. McKinley flourished as in being one of the Army’s elite Starfish graduates. Building on the programs understanding of “building rapport, creating consensus, and leading through trust, influence, and logical persuasion rather than relying on the inherent power contained in titles and roles” has been vital in McKinley’s roles since retirement. Throughout his military career he’s been deployed seven times (stateside and overseas), and was honored with a Legion of Merit and Bronze Star. McKinley was inducted in 2009 as a Distinguished Member of the Signal Corps Regiment. Outside of his professional life he attained the Silver Beaver while serving as a Cub Master for the Boy Scouts of America. He’s served as Parish President St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus, and presently volunteers in his church while obtaining membership as a Knight of Peter Claver serving as Treasurer. https://mckinleysthoughts.com/ https://mckinleysthoughts.com/
