  3. Test Setting • Some test settings cannot be changed after a test has started. (Begin Text Now button) • American Sign Language • Braille • Closed Captioning • Streamlined Interface (testing shell) • Translations (stacked- mathematics only)

  4. Basic Test Rules • Must answer all questions before going on • Can flag items for review (drop-down to return) • Review and change if not paused for more than 20 minutes • Cannot return to segments once completed

  5. Pause Rules • Must log back on • Directed to first page that has unanswered item • Non-PT tests have 20 minute rules • Not permitted to change previously answered items • PT do not have a pause limit rule • Contain 2 segments • Cannot return to first segment once completed

  8. Starting a Test Session • Tests are automatically listed • By grade then subject • NonPT • PT • Students are pre-assigned selected tests and can only take those tests.

  9. Approvals • Approvals 0 • Not clickable • Don’t approve students whose test settings are incorrect • 3 Approvals needed • Clickable • Preview shows test

  10. Approvals • This window does not refresh • Standard Settings = default • Custom Settings = supports and accommodations • Approve individual or approve all students • Denying students (reason- test settings, incorrect information,etc)

  11. Stopping Test Sessions • Click Stop Session • Verification • Remember Stopping requires logging back in • New Session ID • Log out after stopping • After 20 minutes of inactivity, the session is “stopped” • Non-PT tests only – students cannot return to previously answered items
