  2. SAFETY IS YOUR RESPONSIBILTY • Today is the best time to think about your bad safety habits and then correct them.

  3. WHAT SAFETY MEANS FREEDOM FROM DANGER

  4. BENEFITS FOR YOU AND YOUR EMPLOYER

  5. “KNOW THE GENERAL RULES FOR SAFETY AT WORK”

  6. Remembering • REMINDER – SAFETY CAN BE LEARNED • Remembering the safety rules set up by your company and applying them in EVERY MINUTE and aspect of your life, whether at work or at home. 

  7. “ANTICIPATE ACCIDENTS” • Let us try and anticipate what could happen by being aware of near misses and reporting them. In this way we all can play a big part in preventing accidents. 

  8. So we see that accidents do not have to result in injury. But, they are strong indications that something is wrong. If not remedied in time, they may very well result in a major lost-time injury.

  9. DO YOU KNOW SAFETY ?

  10. KNOW YOUR JOB. • KNOW YOUR TOOLS. • KNOW YOUR SAFEGUARDS. • KNOW YOUR PENALTIES. • KNOW YOUR REWARDS. • Know the advantages of working safely.

  11. KNOW THE REMEDIES. KNOW YOURSELF..  KNOW YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES. KNOW YOUR HAZARDS.

  12. WORTH REMEMBERING A SINGLE RISK, MIGHT MEAN AN ACCIDENT FROM WHICH YOU MIGHT NEVER RECOVER.

  13. Always remember that in safety, you protect:  YOU AND ALL THOSE YOU LOVE!
