  1. Knights of Columbus Bottle Drive for Special Olympics October 4-5, 2014

  2. Special Olympics & Knights of Columbus • Special Olympics is dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with an intellectual disability through active participation in sport. • The Knights of Columbus and Special Olympics have been in partnership since the first Special Olympics event in 1969. • We would like to organize bottle drives province wide. • All funds raised will provide for athletes, their sport clubs and competitions.

  3. Why A Community Bottle Drive? • The Community Bottle Drive is a very effective and easy to accomplish fundraiser that can be offered on a small scale at the community level. • Does not require a lot of volunteer time. • Many people tend to have bottles lying around the house or in their garage • Funds raised go to support programs for Special Olympics children and adults with disabilities.

  4. 7 Steps to a Successful Community Bottle Drive • Select a Chairman • Please contact your local Beer Store and select a mutual date for your Bottle Drive • Register your Bottle Drive at www.specialolympicsontario.com/koc or contact kocbottledrive@specialolympicsontario.com or Toll Free 1-888-333-5515 ext. 237 • Select your Bottle Drive drop off location • Promote your Bottle Drive • Conduct your Community Bottle Drive Day • Report your results
