  5. But when? ASAC: As soon as you’re confident Sooner = Better BUT! Hasty = Bad news ***Wait for the right time!!!***

  6. But when is Right... RIGHT? Waiting takes patience AND planning! If you feel like your decision is rushed, then don’t jump in head first... Think it through! There are plenty of classes you can take while you make your decision which won’t slow you down one bit. BUT... Taking too long may hurt you in the long run.

  8. The nitty-gritty • Tips and Tricks for the selection process A: STAY CALM!!!! B: Use “Backward Planning” Ubiquitous question: Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Defuse your own goal down to the bare bones C: Review what you know about yourself Strengths, Weakness, Talents, etc. D: Review your values One Man Wolf Pack? Team Player? Fast paced or think tank? Customer service? E: Narrow down your choices

  9. The finishing touches and nuances... Is your field “bloated”? Is money more important than work? Specialize? Why and why not. Finally, Take a class or two and give it a test drive!

  10. Uh oh... Double Major? Minor? To take or not to take. Does your major match your Master’s plans? *gulp* Change majors?
