The purpose of the day of the dead is to honor the dead people and to remember them. People who follow this tradition believe that death is not the end of everything and that there is life after death. Some people do it because they try to raise the dead. Halloween is celebrated here in the united states every year on October 31. Kids go out and ask for candy around the neighborhood and another houses. They dress up with different costumes. Dia De Los Muertos is different people thank the siblings that die for all they did for them when they were alive. They thank them by putting food or they favorite thing that they liked the most. I would gather all people in the a popular place and pray for friends and families members who have died, and who ever decorates the best altar wins a soccer ball. One specific person that I would celebrate it for is for my Grandparents who died when I was 6 years old and 9 years old. I really love them like if they were my own parents. I felt really sad and I still miss them a lot. I dedicate some soccer games to them. For who would I celebrate it and how.
