Hadron Collider Physics Symposium 2007

1. Hadron Collider Physics Symposium 2007 Sezione di Pisa The Hadron Collider Physics Symposium 2007 will be hosted by INFN Pisa in the Elba Island, Italy, from May 20-26, 2007. This symposium has been a major forum for the presentation of Tevatron Collider measurements. It is the 18th conference of a series, the last three having been held at Michigan State (2004), Les Diablerets (2005) and Durham (2006). The meeting has been recently merged with the LHC Symposium, bringing together the Tevatron and LHC communities. The start up of LHC is becoming closer and the Symposium is expected to be very exciting this year. The conference hall and the hotels are located in La Biodola area. La Biodola is a beautiful little bay on Elba Island. Elba is the biggest island of the Tuscan Archipelago in the Tyrrhenian Sea and is a major holiday resort, famous for its natural beauties, its history and its vineyards. The island is located 10-km offshore, about 80 km south of Pisa and about 250 km north of Rome. Social activities and excursions will be organized. Participants sharing a double room or coming with companion(s) will be accommodated, unless otherwise requested, in two seaside first class Hotels, the Hotel Hermitage and the Hotel Biodola, located very close to each other in an isolated area approximately 10 Km from Portoferraio. The Conference hall is located in the Hotel Hermitage site. The conference hall can hold ~380 people for plenary sessions and participation to the symposium has to be limited to this number. Only a few single rooms are available at the Hermitage and Biodola Hotels. Single rooms will be available in the first class seaside Hotel del Golfo located at about 6 Km from the Conference room. A bus shuttle service from this hotel to the Conference site will be provided twice per day. Lunch will be served at the Hermitage Hotel. Breakfast and dinner are foreseen at the Hotel where the person is accommodated. On request, participants sharing double rooms or with family can also be accommodated at a slightly reduced rate at the Hotel del Golfo.
