International Graduate Program in Civil Engineering (IPCE) http://www.ceinter.eng.ku.ac.th Department of Civil Engineerin, Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University Scholarship for master's level studies in IPCE (KU) (Now – 1 June, 2009) Visiting Professors Background Academic Programs The department of Civil Engineering, Kasetsart University was established in 1996 to offer courses leading to the Bachelor degree. From that beginning, it has now grown and has added in its administration, post graduate programs at the master and Doctoral level. Presently, the Department has 38full-time faculty members. The Department is well equipped with facilities for coursework studies and conducting research, such as Structural Engineering Laboratory, Material Testing Laboratory, Soil and Rock Mechanics Laboratory and Highway Materials Laboratory. Since 1998, The Department has offered the International Program in Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering (M.Eng). The Program has established academic cooperation with universities and institutions in the United States, Japan, Singapore, and the Philippines. This program will serve the needs for human resources in infrastructures development; not only for Thailand but also the Southeast Asian regional countries and elsewhere. While the program is international in nature, it will also benefit the region and people through research and development pertinent to the regional environment and cultural conditions. • Student will select one of the areas of specialization as his/her Major and another one as the Minor.
