  3. LAs – Food Waste • Revised household food waste figures 6.7 – 8.3 million tonnes p.a. • Commercial Food study Viability of collections etc. Due to publish in May • Food Waste Collections fund 12 applications processed so far - in discussion with further 5.

Investment - eQuip • eQuip – Offers support in leasing equipment for recycling. • Set up by WRAP to issue residual value guarantees (RVGs) to finance providers in support of selected recycling equipment leases • An RVG underwrites the future value of leased equipment • Overcomes asset risk for finance providers – lack of secondary market and uncertain values • eQuip is a unique guarantee scheme for recycling businesses
