  6. The origins of the Herdade do Esporão and its winemaking activities, date back to the prehistoric times of the megalithic cultures and the Bronze Age. Already during the Roman occupation, the wines of the settlement of Esporão were exported to the whole Empire. The boundaries of the estate were established in 1267 and have remained practically unaltered since then.

  7. Alandra Tinto (Red) Produced from various Portuguese grape varieties, including Moreto, Trincadeira e Castelão, which lend aromas of red, cherry fruit with a slight spice to it. This wine is soft and rich textured with a good density. It comes as good company with grilled sardines or pork dishes.

  8. AlandraBranco (White) Produced mainly with the Portuguese grape varieties AntãoVaz, Perrum and Arinto, this wine boasts fresh and citrus aromas, with an herby and refreshing taste to the palate. It pairs well with grilled fish, bivalves or green bean tempura. It’s a wine with a very modern style.
