Write up: • What are coral reefs and how do they form? • Why are the Maldives a popular holiday destination? • What are the positive benefits that tourism brings to the Maldives? • Why is the natural environment of the Maldives under threat? • What can be done to reduce that threat?

  11. Plenary Should people be allowed to go on holiday in sensitive ecosystems? Discuss!
