Motivation • Lot of accidents caused due to blind spots while changing lanes in inter-states • Seeing the mirror and driving in the night is difficult due to the head lights • And when it rains it is still worse • Also there is a chance of hitting the vehicle before while turning and looking for vehicles in blind spot.

Methodology • Dual Mode cameras on both front top right and left corners of the car capture input. • The input is sent to display present above the music system of the car. • The display combines the feed from both the cameras and gives a combined or panoramic view to the driver. • Panoramic view will show the blind spots and adjacent lanes on either side.

  7. Expected Outcome • Study of existing methods. • Ideal spots to place cameras. • Number of cameras needed to make this process efficient and safe. • Ideal spot to place the display. • other approaches to the same problem. • Figure out the various challenges involved.

  8. Scenario of Use • Main usage: To reduce/totally avoid blind spots. • Use the same camera(combine it with sensors ) for other purposes like automatic parking, enabling wipers, adjusting headlight brightness, control speed.
