Struktur truss Trussed structure are assemblies of ties (tension) and struts (compression) arranged in pin connected triangles so tha all internal forces are axial (in direct compression or tension with noending or shear). • Triangular structures includes: • Cables • Trusses • Space frames and • Geodesic frame • The triangular geometry is fundamental to truss beahaviour because the triangle is the only polygon that has an inherently stable geometry.
