WHAT IS e-TRAIN? e-TRAIN is an online Employee Training Registration And Information Network application (service) that uses the HISD Web Connect Employee Portal as a means to: Provide online training registration via the HISD portal; Identify employees who have received HISD and/or state-mandated training required for their positions for federal, state, and local agency reporting purposes; Store the training data of an employee, campus, administrative district, or department; and Award appropriate certifications, licenses, or permits. Mention: e-TRAIN allows employees to request registration online and it provides training administrators or program administrators a means to capture pertinent information regarding their training in PeopleSoft (HRMS)Mention: e-TRAIN allows employees to request registration online and it provides training administrators or program administrators a means to capture pertinent information regarding their training in PeopleSoft (HRMS)
