  2. Above the Clouds Known by some of the worlds best professional and Olympic skiers, Steamboat, Colorado is a well regarded community. During the summer months, Steamboat transforms into a luscious mountain full of biking, hiking, fishing and much more fun outdoor activities. During the winter months, people come to Steamboat just for the snow. With the summit sitting at 10,568 feet and numerous trails weaving through the white wilderness, it is an exhilarating view. Yet, when off the slopes there are many personal luxuries such as fancy restaurants and hot tubs to provide the relaxation after an inspiring day on the slopes. (Steamboat Chambers) This is one of my favorite places because it allows to me completely disconnect from the world and connect with myself. Skiing is one of my favorite hobbies and this place allows me to have fun and completely relax. Steamboat, Colorado

  3. Steamboat vs. Local Skiing Steamboat Wintergreen Wintergreen resorts spans across the eastern slopes of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Known for its beautiful hiking trails and as some of the best skiing around this part of the east coast, many people make it a travel destination. However, the mountain rises only 3,515 feet high and has an annual snow fall of about 35 inches. ( Wintergreen Resorts) Steamboat Springs lies against the western ridge of the Continental Divide and is nearly surrounded by National Forest, and Wilderness areas.  The Yampa River, which begins in the Flat Tops Wilderness, flows through downtown Steamboat Springs and eventually meets the Green River in Dinosaur National Monument.( Steamboat Chambers) The mountain peaks at 10,568 feet and gets an annual snowfall of about 349 inches, skiing doesn’t get much better.   8. Skiing the Mountain The video below gives a brief depiction of what Steamboat powder is all about. There many different tree skiing areas to go through all over the mountain and some of the best that I found in Steamboat were on the backside of the mountain.   11. Project Reflection This project was productive in the sense that my PowerPoint skills were touched up upon and I got to work with new features. These features include the SmartArt , table and chart insertions. Other than that, I haven't used PowerPoint in a while so it was nice to touch up with the software again. Overall, cool project and no complaints. Steamboat, Colorado
