  5. Nuclear Pores • “Pore Complex” • Regulation of what is transported across envelope • Proteins, RNA’s, Macromolecules

  6. Nucleolus • Synthesizing of ribosomal RNA (rRNA) • Proteins imported from the cytoplasm assemble with rRNA • Formation of ribosomes
