  6. In order to get the same sound with “E” and “I” we have to add a “U” in between them. • Ex: Guerra Guitarra

  7. ¡ATENCION!When “G” is before “U” followed by “A” or “O” BOTH vowels sound.Ex: GuanteAguóPERO (but…) When “G” is before “U” followed by “E” or “I” ONLY the second vowel sound. Ex: Guerra Guitarra

  8. G When “G” is before “U” follow by “E” or “I” we have to add DIÉRESIS (ü) to make BOTH vowels sound. Ex: Chigüiro (Capybara), Cigüeña (White stork), Bilingüe (bilingual), Pingüino (pinguin).

  9. ¡ATENCION! • When G is followed by “E” or “I” with no “U” in between the G sound changes for a soft “H” sound. • Ge: HAE • Gi: HEE G and J in Spanish share the same sound with these two vowels. They sound like Helloor Head Ex: Gimnasia-Jirafa Gente-Cojear
