  3. Amendment I Protects The 5 basic Freedoms • Freedom of religion • Freedom of speech • Freedom of the press • Freedom of assembly • Freedom to petition the government

  4. Amendment ii • Guarantees the states the right to keep a military

  5. AMENDMENT III • No Soldier will be housed by Americans

  6. Amendment iv • The Right For colonists to protect their privacy • No Longer There Will Be Search Warrants

  7. Amendment v • Protects the rights of people accused of a crime • No one can be put on trial without first being indicted

  8. Amendment vi • A legal counsel must be provided to a defendant

  9. Amendment vii • If you sue someone for more than $20 a jury is provided for you

  10. Amendment viii • Ensures that neither bail nor punishment for a crime will be unreasonably severe

  11. Amendment ix • Provides that the peoples right are not limited to those mentioned in the constitution

  12. Amendment x • Protects the states and the people from an all-powerful government
