  2. s STEP-1Please download other anti-virus or security software before you uninstall MIS - to safeguard your PC. s

  3. s STEP-2Save and close all the open program(s); temporarily disable the Internet access. s

  4. s STEP-3Click on Start/Windows key > type search terms "un" in Search item > scroll up and click on Uninstall a program link on the top of that menu. s

  5. s STEP-4Double click on McAfee Internet Security project listed. s

  6. s STEP-5If you don't have other secure add-ons installed, you can keep the Site Advisor; then you click on Remove button. s

  7. s STEP-6If you see the MIS "You Still Have an Active Subscription" information window displayed, you go on clicking on Remove. s

  8. s STEP-7Wait and follow the prompt boxes, like the info window "Your Computer is at Risk", you may need to click Check status button or Close. s

  9. s STEP-8Finally, you need to reboot your computer clicking on Restart now >> button. s
