Main project objectives Creation of a social enterprise (SE) concerning recycling of WEEE in Tirnabos municipality This SE will be staffed by ROMA Expansion of the existing SE in Mitilini municipality - Ydallios Damos) concerning WEEE recycling. The SE will employ people with dissabilities Two Vocational Training Programmes Social Managers ROMA people For each SE a pilot preliminary stage of 6 months will be taking place (after the fulfilment of the vocational training programmes) Formation of a business plan for each SE

  4. TODAY Completion of all relevant studies: Greek and European Legislation Recycling Methods Training Material Website (www.e-wasterecycling.gr) Completion of Social Managers Vocational Training

Now Starting Vocational Training of ROMA people Establishment of Social Enterprise in Tyrnavos Extension of business activities of Social Enterprise Ydalios Damos in Mitilini (collection and storage of WEEE) Establishment of WEEE Exhibition Park (Tyrnavos) 6 Dissemination Conferences throughout Greece (Thessalonica, Samos, Mitilini, Tyrnavos) Pilot Stage of both Social Enterprises

  8. New Factors Extension of National Project until March 2008 A new extension is expected until June 2008 (project was originally going to end at December 2007)

Problems Regarding Transnational Cooperation Greece is the Leading Partner of Business Training (BT) WG Greece will have concrete results of the Social Enterprises in 2008 Italy needs some more time too Final product of BT WG cannot be ready earlier than 2008 It seems necessary to have at least one more meeting
