  2. The Topic • Adapted an earlier history project on Roman slave revolts • Found the history project interesting and informative • Many things I could not show with a PowerPoint alone

  3. Contents • Overview – historical information about the war • Generals – statues and busts depicting the famous participants • Statistics of Forces – excel spreadsheet detailing the sizes of various armies throughout the war • JavaScript – an amusing page that lets the viewer distort a picture of the leader of the Roman forces • Proposal – downloadable Word document containing a condensed summary of my topic • PowerPoint – Details that creation of the project

  4. What I learned • Interesting statistics about the size of the armies involved • Became more confortable manipulating JavaScript • Learned the importance of tables in formatting

  5. Difficulties • Finding a relevant interactive JavaScript • Finding an irrelevant interactive JavaScript • Making the irrelevant JavaScript relevant • Submitting it to Sampson server
