News According to new letter from Tax Company Regarding Yearly Bonus 2009 paid during 1st quarter of 2010 • For Labor Working Enough 12 Months Service : ½ Total Yearly Bonus is non-taxable • For Labor Working Less Than 12 Months Service: the amount for non-taxable is divided into ratio for the period of nontaxable month • The company will represent for employees to calculate adjustment tax on Payroll of Jan.2010 & Tax Finalization of 2010

  10. ENGAGED PROJECT THIS MONTH (GENERAL ADMIN) GA TASKS A. Office Building Information 1. TWC: - Found out unreasonable high telephone bill of Viettel. - Viettel admitted miscalculation of 28 mil vnd to be adjusted in later months. 2. Norch: - Letter to the landlord for power supplied during Lunar New Year. - Reply letter regarding OT payment.

  11. ENGAGED PROJECT THIS MONTH (GENERAL ADMIN) GA TASKS A. Office Building Information 3. Hanhphuc tower (Cantho): - Surveyed a new curtain for Cantho office for sunshine protection. 4. Mirae Building (Big C): - Feedback from Big C’s landlord regarding a new rental price.

  12. ENGAGED PROJECT THIS MONTH (GENERAL ADMIN) GA TASKS A. Office Building Information 5. Dongnai office: - Approval report for choosing security service company. - 3 phase power installation. - Setup a temporary office in Dongnai. - Started construction on 22 Feb’2010. Completion will be on 3 Apr’2010. 6. HCMC: - Searched for new offices in HCMC.

  13. ENGAGED PROJECT THIS MONTH (GENERAL ADMIN) GA TASKS A. Office Building Information 7. Danang office: - Moved from Green Plaza to 6th FL Sacombank smoothly (25 Jan’2010) and recovery all things (8 Feb’2010).

Rented 2 photocopiers for Dongnai office to save cost for the company. 3. A letter to Norch’s landlord regarding overtime charges. 4. Liquidation of construction contract in Danang.

  16. NEXT MONTH PROJECT PLAN (GENERAL ADMIN) GA TASKS Monitoring construction in Dongnai’s office. 2. Liquidation of rental contract with Green Plaza. 3. GD’s car rental contract. 4. HCMC’s agency office rental contract. 5. Feedback to Big C’s landlord for moving out. 6. Office equipment arrangement for Dongnai’s office. 7. Binhthanh & Dist 5’s houses.

  17. Legal Department MONTHLY REPORT - FEBRUARY 2010 MAIN TASKS

  18. Main tasksLast month: ►Terms & Conditionsof new products  R04, R05, D01: finished ► Legal Compliance Process  Sent new legal documents to related departments for them to update their Legal Compliance Brochure & Legal Compliance Procedure.

Main tasksLast month: ►Legal counsel:  Agent’s issue:violation on premium collection and not return the CLIV on time (finished).  Dongnai branch: received the licence's Dongnai branch on 2 Mar 2010.  Danang branch: submitted the documents to change Danang branch’s address and waiting for feedback from the MOF.

  20. Main tasksLast month: ►Legal counsel (cont):  “Exciting Summer with Cathay” Promotion: waiting for feedback from the MOT. N’orch issues:overtime hours – waiting for feedback from the Landlord.

  21. Main tasksThis month ►Legal Compliance: follow up ► Legal Counsel: • Dongnai branch: prepare for post-licensing (register a seal, tax code, bank account, announcement on newspaper); • Consultant contract: another option of labour contract.

  22. Main tasksThis month ► Legal Counsel: • “Exciting Summer with Cathay” promotion: follow up; • N’orch issue: follow up overtime hours; early moving notice of 6th Fl to the Landlord; • Big C issue: prepare to terminate the leasing agreement; • Collective Agreement: review & revise.
