Stars • Stars are hot balls of burning gasses in the sky. • Blue stars are the hottest. • The Sun is a star. • The sun is close to the Earth. That is why it looks big.
Shooting Stars • Shooting stars are not stars they are meteorites. • Meteorites are rocks. • People wish on shooting stars.
The Moon • There is a great big moon in the sky. • The moon is a satellite that orbits Earth. • Sometimes the moon is a half moon. • The moon looks like the sun in the night sky.
