Indiana Statewide Ortho/LiDAR Base Products - High Resolution Imagery and LiDAR Data

This report provides information on the Indiana Statewide Ortho/LiDAR Base Products, including 4-band imagery, 1-meter pixel resolution LiDAR, and buy-up options for higher resolution Ortho imagery. The contract parties involved in this project are OCRA, USGS, USDS, NTIA, INDOT, IN Homeland Security, MACOG, and various counties. Additionally, the report covers the Open Topography Server for Indiana and the efforts to improve the National Hydrography Dataset (NHD).   6. The Open Topography Server for Indiana

  7. Improving the NHD (National Hydrography Dataset) Purpose: To improve the accuracy and level of detail of the data about the surface waters in Indiana Streams in blue have been added to the existing NHD (red) through this project

  8. Improving the NHD • Funding exists for the 30 sub-basin shown in green (Phase 1) • One of those, the Upper Eel, is serving as the pilot area • Phase 1 is scheduled for completion by December, 2013
