Houses have altars with offering of fruits, flowers, and food as well as other personal offering. Takes place on November 1st and 2nd. Dia de los Muertos(Day of Death)
This festivity is a traditional festivity of Oaxaca that portrays dances, regional dresses, and crafts from the 7 regions of the state are portrayed. It is accompanied by a native band. Takes place the 2nd Monday after July 16 The Gelagetza (Lunes de Cerro)
CULTURAL ATTRACCTONS CULTURAL ATTRACTIONS
PALM WORK Palm leaf weaving is a handicraft typical of the Mixteca region. Common products are fans, sleeping mats, coin purses, sombreros and tenates.
Pottery • Oaxaca pottery holds an important position in state handicrafts field. Glazed tiles, featuring brown and white backgrounds with floral designs.
Monte Alban • Was the ancient Capital of the Zapotec and one of the first cities on Mesopotamia. • What we find at the top are the remains of the sacred city: temple basements, some houses and tombs.
MITLA • You can see borders formed by the assembly of small mosaics in the main buildings of The Columns and The Stream complexes. You can also admire manuscript-style paintings in some of the lintels of The Curato
HUATULCO • Consist of nine bays with soft fine sand beaches with luxurious hotels and restaurants.
