Exact cause is idiopathic, but genetic and environmental factors early in life are believed to be causes of it. • Parents who have asthma, certain respiratory infections during childhood, contact with some allergens, exposure to viral infections during infancy, and an inherited tendency to develop allergies called atopyare all agreed upon factors that could lead to asthma. It is incurable. • Good ways to control it is by maintaining good lung function, normal activity level, and sleep through night, preventing asthma attacks and troublesome symptoms, and reducing the need for quick-relief medicines. • Treatment for each individual varies. • Some people need to stay on long-term control medicines or just have quick-term medicines. Allergic asthma is when one’s airways are hypersensitive to allergens like windblown pollen, mold, and animal dander. • These allergens are all reasons for allergic asthma attacks. • Exercise induced asthma becomes more sensitive during temperature and humidity changes. • While exercising one breathes through their mouth and this doesn’t warm up the air coming into their body. • The nose does this when one breathes through their nose.
