WE DON’T FULLY REALIZE HOW IMPORTANT PRAYER IS Disciples “but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.” Acts 6:4 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. -Acts 2:42 Jesus “So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed.” - Luke 5:16

Barriers to Effective Prayer 1 Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear. 2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear. 3 For your hands are defiled with blood, And your fingers with iniquity; Your lips have spoken lies, Your tongue has muttered perversity. 4 No one calls for justice, Nor does any plead for truth. They trust in empty words and speak lies; They conceive evil and bring forth iniquity. Barriers to Effective Prayer “and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.” -1 John 3:22 • WE DON’T FULLY REALIZE HOW IMPORTANT PRAYER IS • SIN • NOT DEDICATED TO GOD’S WORK DO NOT GIVE THE LORD LIP SERVICE WHEN YOU PRAY! FOLLOW THROUGH ON WHAT YOU PRAY FOR!
