  2. Per a què el fem servir ? • L’usuari , penja al seu bloc un missatge , article o fotografia . Els lectors poden escriure comentaris (si l'autor ho permet) i aquest, al seu torn, donar-los resposta. • Molts usuaris fan servir el bloc com una eina per reivindicar-se, per convocar actes o expressar els seus sentiments.

  3. De quins temes hi ha ? • Cada bloc té el seu propi tema i n'hi ha de tipus personal, econòmic, periodístic, tecnològic, educatiu, polític, etc.

  4. Qui ofereix aquests serveis? • Webs com Blogger, Blogspot, Weblog , Fotolog, Metroflog, Metroblog ofereixen serveis per fer-te blocs personals amb imatges, música, vídeos . . .

  5. Qui i quan va tenir la idea ? • El concepte de bloc existeix des dels principis d'Internet. Tim Berners Lee, l'inventor de la web, tenia una pàgina on incloïa els nous llocs web que s'anaven creant i feia un comentari sobre cadascun; però el primer weblog com a tal , ScriptingNews , va néixer el 7 d'octubre de 1994, de la mà de DaveWiner.
