Research Camp • To introduce faculty who are starting their research program to strategies and techniques that will make their research programs successful. • 2-day off-site camp for 1st, 2nd, & 3rdyr faculty • Topics include: Finding opportunities, grant writing, discussions on federal, industry, and foundation funding, setting up your lab, and hiring grad students • App deadline – Sept 30, 2014 • Sponsored by the Vice-Provost for Faculty Development and the Vice-Provost for Research and Economic Development.
