  2. Kevin Durant • American professional Basketball player. • Plays small forward. • Currently Plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

  3. Early Life • Born in Washington, D.C. on September 29, 1988. • Child of Wanda and Wayne Pratt. • Raised by his grandmother, Barbara Davis.

  4. College Career • College: Texas (2006–2007) • One of four freshman to start for the University of Texas. • Received Player of the Year,the Oscar Robertson Trophy and the Adolph F. Rupp Trophy.

  5. Rookie Season • Eligible for NBA Draft on April 11, 2007. • Signed first pro contract, May 25 with Upper Deck Company. • Was second overall in the 2007 NBA Draft by the Seattle SuperSonics.

  6. 2008–09 Season • Seattle SuperSonics moved from Seattle to Oklahoma City. • February 13, 2009, Durant led the Sophomore team to a 122–116 victory. • Crowned MVP for the game after he set the scoring record with 46 points.

  7. 2010-11 Season • July 7, 2010, signed a 5-year contract extension with the Thunder. • Extension is worth about $86 million • Durant led the Thunder to 55 wins.

  8. 2011–12 season • Played as a starter for the 2012 NBA All-Star Game. • Scored game-winner with 1.5 on game clock, beat Dallas Mavericks 99–98 during 1 of the 2012 NBA playoff series.
