Kingman – Lessons Learned • Fronts have a history – if it was moist at the coast, it will likely be moist inland, even in the desert. • Identifying fronts across the interior West requires using dew point maximum. • Guidance tends to overpredict winds in a dry environment • Beware of sensor outages (another reason to learn to read metars )
