Lessons Learned Down-Under • Coastal cities near a developing s’easter can receive a considerable amount of rain. • The tail end of a front in a late spring quasi-humid air mass can generate only scattered showers. • Downsloping will put a quick end to precipitation once the winds pick-up (aka, ORF or CHS) • Overall, it is not that different from the NH and even the GFS DMO is reasonable 
