St. Louis – Lessons Learned • Front can have complex structure, so be aware of a couple of surges of cooler air. • Favored jet streak position can enhance precipitation amounts • Trajectory of the air flow will increase moisture content….the longer the air flows from a moist source, the higher the precip rates.. • DON’T forecast for the same city twice 
