Overview of Territory All things United States Government worldwide to include State and Local Governments Government is typically behind the commercial sector. For example, clustering has gained significant traction in the last year. The Government is typically very slow to update to new software and operating system releases. Many agencies within government are still running Exchange 5.5 and Solaris 2.8 and don’t anticipate changing for another year.
Strengths What about VCS/VVR/GCM do you feel are strengths in your territory? Identify what has contributed to their success. Site failover is a common requirement for Government customers. CFS and RAC are a big hit with DBA’s. Flexible agent support wins many deals. Heterogeneous support Ease of use, It works!! Total solution from one supplier Name recognition and product reputation

Oracle AS, Oracle 10g) Engineering/Support notification of bugs/misfeatures is non-existent.
