  1. BILL OF RIGHTS ASSIGNMENT Using a copy of the Constitution provided for you, complete the following: • Reviewing the original Bill of Rights, which amendments would you remove or exclude and why? • Review the original Bill of Rights and analyze the amendments from today’s perspective (2010). What amendments would you like to see added or included to the Bill of Rights and why do you think they should be added or included? • Review the remaining 17 amendments. Of the remaining amendments, which of these amendments would you change, if any, and why? What would you change them to? • If you were to write your own Student Bill of Rights for all students at Sylmar High School, what would be the first ten amendments you would include? • Reviewing the original Bill of Rights, which of the amendments do you personally feel strongest about, which one do you like the most, and why? Assignment will be due on Friday, October 1, 2010.
