  1. Tlingittotem from the Northwest Coastal Region Whittle it out of wood and paint it OR form with clay OR dough to bake and paint it!

  2. Tlingit baskets • Make out of weaving straw/grasses OR color paper to look like a weaved basket.

  3. Tlingit bracelet • Make out of wood and shells OR use an old bracelet and paste pieces of shell colored paper on it

  4. Tlingit Mask • Make it out of paper mache and paint it OR form it with clay and paint it.

  5. Tlingit Carved spoon • Whittle it out of wood OR form it out of clay around a wooden spoon.

  6. Tlingit halibut/fishing hook (Alaska)Complete with halibut hook, carved wood with iron barb. Decorated front section of the halibut hook is carved to represent a fish with a human figure emerging from its belly.Circa: 1880Length: 11in. Make it out of woodand rope and a nail.

  7. Written component 1st paragraph: materials, how did you make it realistic, steps to make it (use TRANSITION words: first, next, then, last, etc) 2nd paragraph: cultural region, tribe name, environment, natural resources used, how artifact was used, why they needed this artifact in their environment.
