  9. Locating Books and E-books In NovaCat Books are usually a great reference for research and papers. Open a browser and navigate to NovaCat. Run a keyword search on the topic of your choice. What is the material type of the first result? Is it a print book, e-book, or a web resource? What is a quick way to tell? Find the first print book in your results. Is it available? If available, would you be able to check it out or order it? Why or why not?

  17. Using The Databases To Search For Dissertations Dissertations can be a resource to learn about other people’s research. Open a browser and navigate to Databases. Find dissertation databases. Select a dissertation database and log in with your SharkLink account. Run a keyword search on the topic of your choice. Find the first dissertation in your results. If full-text available? If available, would you be able to view it online or order it? Why or why not?
