Life without UTD. What is the contract?. The contract is an agreement between the United Teachers of Dade and the management of MDCPS for how we will work and how we will be compensated for that work. If there is no UTD there is no contract. What does this mean to you?.

  2. What is the contract? • The contract is an agreement between the United Teachers of Dade and the management of MDCPS for how we will work and how we will be compensated for that work. • If there is no UTD there is no contract.

  3. What does this mean to you? Why does this matter? Everything will still be the same, won’t it? It won’t be so bad what is the worst they could change?

  13. Not required to clean the school facilities X

  14. Limit on Back to School Night Activities X

  15. Supplement for extra responsibilities / duties X

  16. Steps / Pay increases X

  17. Extra teaching period supplements X

  18. Without UTD, MDCPS management could revoke or change each or all of these items, just because they wanted to.
