  2. About the North Pole • Located: • North of Greenland, Canada and Russia • Technically: The north pole is on top of the Arctic ice pack which is floating on the Arctic Ocean, therefore The North Pole is not land.

  3. Which are North Pole Animals? • Polar Bear • Narwhal- Long tusked whale • Penguin

  4. Wheather • What is the weather like? • Snowy, Ice Storms, Sunny. The weather is basically unpredictable • Freezing!! • Between -45 degrees F and -15. In the summer the mercury can rise to the freezing point but can also plummet to zero.

  5. Arctic Ocean How deep is the Arctic Ocean? • The Arctic Ocean is 13,000 feet deep. How Cold is the Arctic Ocean? • -60F or lower during the winter and around 50F in the summer.
