Objectives and expected outcomes Workshop objectives Expected Outcomes Enhance technical and managerial capacity of the PoA and CPA project teams Successful PoA and CPA implementation (lower transaction costs, higher CER revenues) Encourage similar projects in Uganda and other African countries Increase uptake of CDM projects in Africa Benefits to the community, host country (income generation, employment, air quality and health improvement, gender equality) Enhance understanding of CDM rules to ensure real GHG emission reductions and more saleable credits Benefits to the environment and global community (lower GHG emissions, more capital flows to developing countries)
