  2. How it Began • A man who funded the dig died shortly after they found the tomb. • His name was Carnavon. • Shortly after he died a city nearby lights went out. • The media went crazy with stories of his death. • They said Tut wanted revenge.

  3. How old is the Mystery? • They found King Tuts tomb in 1922. • It has been 89 years since the tomb was found. • The curse started 4 years after WW1 ended. • It also started 17 years before WW2.

  4. King Tut • King Tut is a 18th dynasty pharoh. • He inherited the throne around 10 years old. • He live for 19 years. • He was also more a ruler by figure than of wisdom.

  5. Where his tomb is • His tomb is in Egypt, Valley of the Kings. • Cario is nearby where the lights went out.

  6. Was King Tut murdered? • Ay and Hormheb close servants may have killed him. • 1. Ay killed him because he knew he would inheret the throne if King Tut died. • 2. Hormheb killed him because King Tut was getting older. • Hormheb’s power was slipping away.

  7. Proof that the Curse Exists. • Lord Carnavon died shortly after the tomb was found. • Carnavon’s dog died at the same time as him. • He got bit by a mosquito and suffered high fever. • After he died the lights went out in a nearby city. • The city’s name is Cairo.

Proof that the Curse doesn't Exist • There was a misread inscription. • It said “Death shall come on swift wings to him that toucheth the tomb of the Pharaoh”. • It is actually from a spell book of the dead. • The man who actually found the tomb didn’t die until he was 64. • His name is Howard Carter.

  9. The Curse • If you get the curse you can die. • Also your pet may die too. • Carnavon died at the same time his dog died. • Howard Carter’s canary was killed by a cobra after they found the tomb.

  10. My Opinion • My opinion is that King Tut does want revenge and we should leave his tomb alone before someone else gets hurt or worse.
