KFS REPORTING GOAL • KFS Reporting is divided into phases: • The first phase is to provide FRS Web equivalent reports when KFS goes live on November 4th, 2013. • 36 different reports, along with their drill downs, will be available. Similar to FRS Web, these reports are grouped by organizational levels (Division, Department, etc.) and at the Account level. • Subsequent phases will be driven by a Functional Reporting group that is made up of individuals from multiple departments. KFS REPORTING REPORTING TOOLS There are three key components used in the creation of reports: • The KFS system has over 800 database tables that are used to store and process financial data. • A product called IBM DataStage which will access the KFS data and load it into a report-friendly structure. • A tool called Jasper Reports Server will be used to run reports.
