2. Passengers The titanic was carrying 2229 passengers When it sunk, 713 of them survived, and 1516 of them died.

3. Levels The titanic had 10 levels all together Not all the levels ran across the entire ship 1st class passengers were on the top 3 levels, 2nd were on the middle 3, 3rd were on the bottom 3, and the ships crew was on the last level.

4. Sinking The Titanic sunk on April 12th, 1912. When it struck an iceberg, then water began pouring into it through the scratch the iceberg had made. About two hours later, the top of the ship was pointing up out of the water, and the bottom half was underneath. Eventually, the bottom snapped off and the entire ship sunk….. With many passengers still on board

5. SurvivorStory Aaron Dodge and his wife were 3rd class passengers on the titanic. He said that they had gone to their stateroom and locked themselves in when everybody was leaving the ship. Eventually, water started flowing into their room, so they left and ran to the top level of the ship. A few women refused to leave without their husbands. Mrs.Dodge was one of them, but the ships crew let both Dodges onto the same lifeboat. The boat was moving further from the ship, and he could see fireworks going up behind it, and other ships in the background. Along with the terrified passengers who remained on board. Then, the ship tilted up, and went down. That is the last time he saw any other passengers from the titanic, all of the ones who remained on board either died of drowning, or they froze. This is what Mr.Dodge had said about his experience the night the titanic had sunk.

6. Lifeboats The titanic only had about 20 lifeboats. It was supposed to carry 32, but they got rid of 12 because they wanted room for other things on the boat. The reason a lot of passengers died is that there weren’t enough lifeboats for everybody to get off the ship.
